Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development by researching, prospecting, and closing new sales within the mid to large customer segment.
- Develop and foster strategic relationships at the executive level and establish yourself as a key partner and trusted advisor as an expert in air & ocean freight forwarding services.
- Collaborate with branch operations and international offices to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare and present proposals, and handle customer inquiries with expert knowledge in logistics and export regulations.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline, detailed records of sales activities, and customer interactions within the CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of successful track record in freight forwarding sales, specifically within air freight.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong customer-centric approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to visit prospective clients.
- Tech savvy enough to navigate internal systems, CRM and Microsoft Office products.
